We offer a range of safety services based on a pragmatic approach to people's safety. We believe safety is about assisting businesses with their activity without unnecessary hindrance.
We're opposed to the H&S Jobsworth approach to safety management. However, we also believe safety is not a paperwork exercise and we seek to work with managers to change culture through information, training and example.
The Regulatory (Fire Safety) Order 2005 places duties on organisations to have in place a Fire Risk Assessment and to work towards making the workplace safe for people in the case of a fire.
We act as the competent person for organisations to produce their fire risk assessment and provide an action plan for improved safety in the case of a fire. The Fire risk assessment is the starting point for a safer working environment for staff and visitors.
Protecting the global and local environment is not only required through legislation but is an expectation of society. We have experience in introducing ISO 14001's and specialize in provision planning to protect the environment should a fire or spillage occur (emergency response plans).
Additionally CDOIF Environmental Risk Assessments for COMAH sites can be produced. Our Director, David Hanlon, is the author of the fire service manual for Environmental Protection and although now retired from the fire service is keen to share his wealth of knowledge with the industry.
We offer a wide range of training to our clients. Training can be provided in any of the three core areas of our business as well as emergency incident response.
David, our Directior, is a qualified and experienced trainer who delivered training to senior fire officers at the UKs National Fire Service College in Morton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. During his three year secondment he was Section Head and Course designer and Director of the highly successful Hazardous Materials and Environmental Protection Course. This five week residential course provided the necessary skills and understanding to UK and international senior fire officers to allow then to command and manage the full range of hazardous materials incidents that might also threaten the environment.
